Dangerous neighborhoods. I actually live in a city that’s on the list of most dangerous cities in the country, every year. I hear gunshots in my area nightly. Not just one or 2 shots, but like 10 of them, back and forth. Ive had to drop to my floor because the gunfire has been so close. I’ve called the non emergency police line and reported it, but even the dispatcher didn’t seem to care. I’m so mad and scared, I’ve wanted to scream out into the night at these idiots to STFU but I just end up crying out of frustration instead.
Anyone else deal with similar struggles? I can’t move house, we own it, and moving cities isn’t an option right now. I want to change my neighborhood if I can, not run from it.
